Serious Cricket announce a five-year extension to their Berkshire sponsorship

Serious Cricket is delighted to announce that they have agreed terms to sponsor the Berkshire Cricket Foundation until 2026. Since its inception in 2005, Serious has grown to become the largest personalised teamwear supplier in the cricket market. Based at its own indoor cricket centre in Basingstoke, it manufactures and produces its own high-quality, bespoke teamwear range that is all handmade in the UK.

This new agreement will see the elite Berkshire teams enter into the new Serious Pro Sublimated Teamwear range, launching in April 2022. It will give Berkshire its own unique look both on and off the field, and made from the latest performance fabrics will continue to set Berkshire apart from its closest rivals.

Alongside a significant commercial contribution to the County which will help the BCF team develop the game further in Berkshire, Serious will also help support the growing Hub programme that the BCF has developed to provide more cricket, for more people.

“As a long-standing teamwear partner of ours, we are delighted to continue and extend our sponsorship agreement with Serious Cricket for the next 5 years. Over the last 17 years, Serious has provided us with exceptional service and a high-quality garment range for our County Age Group and Senior Men’s and Women’s teams.

With Berkshire County Cricket Club now an integral part of the Berkshire Cricket Foundation this is the first of several new agreements to recognise the new structure and will allow us to further develop the game across the whole of the County”.

Mark Roche, Managing Director of the Berkshire Cricket Foundation

“It has been a privilege for Serious Cricket to sponsor the Berkshire Teams since 2005 and I am thoroughly delighted that this partnership continues to go from strength to strength both on and off the field. Having been one of the first Counties to fully embrace our bespoke sublimated kit range in both match kit and teamwear, this has allowed us to really develop the individual look for Berkshire moving forward, having had player-led involvement in the design concepts from the beginning.

This new agreement creates a great chance to work with the Berkshire Cricket Foundation more closely and enables us to support their wider activity of events from the Hub programme up to the 1st XI. All of us at Team Serious look forward to working with Berkshire over the next 5 years."
