News Commemorating Lloyd Martin's Record-Breaking Marathon With A Bespoke Shirt

In April 2024, Lloyd Martin created history at the London Marathon by becoming the youngest person with an intellectual impairment to complete the marathon.

At just 19, he now holds the Guinness World Record and his story was an inspiration to many across the country.

Lloyd ran the marathon in 6:46:10 and did the race with his mum, Ceri Hooper, by his side.

Along with running, Lloyd also has a passion for football and represents the Ascot United Warriors.

Ascot United have their kit supplied by Serious Sport so we decided to create him a special shirt to commemorate his incredible achievement.

This bespoke Ascot United shirt includes his marathon time on the back.

At Serious Sport, we believe strongly in sport having the power to break down barriers and inspire people to do brilliant things. Therefore, we wanted to support Lloyd as he achieved something great.

We have been partnered with Ascot United for a few years now and it is almost exactly a year since their First Team won the FA Vase Final at Wembley.

Ascot United are one of the largest football clubs in the United Kingdom with over 1,000 registered players across a range of teams and abilities.

We are proud to provide teamwear, including bespoke match shirts, to all Ascot United sides including the junior, women's, and senior teams as well as Lloyd's team, the Warriors.

Congratulations again to Lloyd, we hope he can keep inspiring people and proving anything is possible!
