A Christmas Cracker for Ascot United

On the 18th of December, Ascot United men's team were hosting local rivals Windsor which also coincided with the club's Christmas Day.

With a variety of Christmas stalls and the whole club flying, the day was the perfect event to end a successful 2022 and so we wanted to provide our own Christmas present to the club as thanks for the support.

We set out in surprising the men's team with new Training Shirts with a Christmas twist... The day was a great success with the team being led out by their mascots from the Warriors team and going on to thump their rivals 5-1.

“It’s only been half a season partnering with Ascot United FC but the support from Simon, Jo and the rest of the club has been fantastic. A year ago the club came to Serious Sport with the common kit issues clubs face of long lead times and minimum order requirements. Not only was the club suffering, but players, parents and members weren’t getting their kits delivered on time.

Since then, we’ve been supplying the men, women and junior sides, as well as the coaching and volunteers, with all their personalised teamwear, supported through the Online shop and club visits to the Racecourse ground.  As the club continues to grow, Serious Sport will be on hand to help at every step of the way.

We wanted something that would stand out from the crowd and divide opinions, showcasing the extent of our bespoke design capabilities. Designed and manufactured within our Hampshire HQ, this ‘Christmas Cracker’ design is bespoke to Ascot United FC and pays note to the club's history. The colour palette was used to contrast the current home and away kits and was inspired by the colours within the club crest.

Keep an eye out for Chairman Simon Negus who may be sporting one of the new training shirts over the Christmas period too!”
