For the 2024 cricket season, Serious Cricket have expanded their cricket ball offering to four grades in both pink and red.
This means players, clubs, and leagues have the choice of Test, County, Club, and Academy grade balls for match play and training this season.
We are proud to be the official ball provider for leagues including the ECB National Competitions, Hampshire Border League, Durham and North East Cricket League (DNECL), and, as of this season, the Hampshire Junior Championships.
After using the Serious Cricket ball last season, we spoke to two captains from the DNECL who gave us some feedback on how they felt the balls performed.
“From my perspective, the Serious Cricket balls are a big improvement over our previous supplier, they keep their shape a lot better, stay harder, and last significantly longer where we've managed to get a few games and practices out of them.
“As a spinner, I find them a lot easier to grip even when new which gives us a couple of options in the field.”
